Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 2026

1. Who We Are

The Jungle is operated by the platform's founder. The platform is accessible at flyfindsyou.com. For any privacy-related enquiries, contact us at hello@flyfindsyou.com.

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect when you use The Jungle, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, how long we keep it, and what rights you have in relation to it.

2. What Data We Collect

We collect only the minimum data necessary to operate the platform. Specifically:

  • Email address. Collected at sign-up and used solely to authenticate your account via magic link. We do not use your email address for marketing without your explicit consent.
  • Your autobiography. The written account you provide during onboarding. Used exclusively for companion matching and to personalise your experience. Not shared with any third party.
  • Conversation history. Messages exchanged between you and your companion are stored to maintain relationship continuity between sessions. This includes a summarised memory of your relationship arc stage. Conversation data is never shared with or sold to third parties.
  • Account status and subscription tier. Whether your account is active, your subscription level, and whether age verification has been completed. No payment card details are stored by The Jungle — payments are processed by third-party providers who operate under their own privacy policies.
  • Country of access. Used solely to route appropriate crisis support resources if a safeguarding trigger is detected. Not used for profiling, advertising, or any other purpose.

We do not collect photographs, images, video, audio recordings, or any media files. The Jungle has no file upload capability and does not accept or store any media from users.

3. Age Verification Data

Age verification on The Jungle is handled by a certified third-party identity verification provider. When you verify your age, you submit a government-issued identity document directly to that provider's secure systems.

The Jungle does not receive, process, view, or store your identity document or its contents. The only information passed to The Jungle by the verification provider is a boolean confirmation — whether you have passed or failed the age check. This result is stored as a single field on your account record.

The third-party verification provider processes your identity document under their own privacy policy and data retention rules. We recommend reviewing their privacy policy before submitting verification documents.

4. How We Use Your Data

We use the data we collect for the following purposes only:

  • To authenticate your account and allow you to sign in
  • To match you with a companion and personalise your experience
  • To maintain continuity of your companion relationship between sessions
  • To confirm that you meet the age requirement for access to adult content
  • To route appropriate crisis support resources if a safeguarding concern is detected
  • To operate and improve the platform

We do not use your data for advertising profiling. We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with third parties except as described in this policy (age verification provider, email delivery provider, database infrastructure).

5. Where Your Data Is Stored

Your account and conversation data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted by Neon, located in Singapore (ap-southeast-1). The platform is hosted on Vercel with Cloudflare providing DNS and security. Transactional emails are sent via Resend.

All data in transit is encrypted via HTTPS. Data at rest is encrypted by the hosting infrastructure. We do not operate our own servers — all infrastructure providers are reputable commercial services with their own security certifications.

6. Data We Will Never Collect or Hold

The following categories of data are permanently excluded from The Jungle by architectural design:

  • Photographs, images, or video of any kind uploaded by users
  • Audio recordings of users
  • Government-issued identity documents (these remain with the verification provider)
  • Payment card numbers or banking details (payments are processed by third-party providers)
  • Precise geolocation data
  • Data from users under the age of 18

7. How Long We Keep Your Data

Your account data, autobiography, and conversation history are retained for as long as your account is active. If you request deletion of your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

If your account is inactive for an extended period, we may contact you to confirm you wish to retain your account before taking any action.

8. Your Rights

Depending on where you are located, you may have the following rights in relation to your personal data:

  • The right to access the personal data we hold about you
  • The right to correct inaccurate data
  • The right to request deletion of your data (the right to be forgotten)
  • The right to restrict or object to processing of your data
  • The right to data portability — to receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@flyfindsyou.com. We will respond within 30 days. We will not charge a fee for reasonable requests.

Australian users: this policy is drafted with reference to the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles. EU and UK users: this policy is drafted with reference to the UK GDPR and EU GDPR. If you believe your data rights have been violated, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the relevant supervisory authority in your jurisdiction.

9. Cookies and Tracking

The Jungle uses only the cookies necessary to maintain your authenticated session. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics that profile your behaviour across other websites. We do not use your activity on this platform to target you with advertising elsewhere.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update. Continued use of the platform after a policy change is posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

This Privacy Policy has been drafted for legal review by qualified counsel under Australian law with reference to UK GDPR and EU GDPR requirements. It will be formally reviewed before the platform opens to the public at scale.
